Respect FAQ:
  1. “what could be done with an abusive spectator”the relevant team official or delegate could be asked to intervene and speak with the person; ultimately the referee could abandon the game (it’s the responsibility of all clubs to manage the behaviour of their spectators, officials and players too)
  2. “what could be done with an abusive team official (manager/coach/assistant referee)”an official from the opposition team could approach and speak with the person, having first spoken with any other opposition team officials
  3. “what could be done if the referee is not maintaining control of the game”the team captain could approach the referee and ask why appropriate action isn’t being taken, using a suitable stoppage in play (for 5v5 & 7v7 football the team manager may be more appropriate)
